Visited this campus over the Open Day Weekend. Parking was easy to find. Nice and open campus with easy to read signs. Looks to be a great university.

Below average! I have studied here for two years but didn't like it! lCame here to study from Bangladesh but cancelled the Bangladeshi citizenship! Now I am Australian citizen! Some educational institution have more business deals than teaching student from the country they come from and they make more money from there. You know what I mean multimillion dollars labs, donations, advertisement, donation, health services and donations and ... Help people and ...I think Ecu is doing better now! One star from me!ThanksDrkabouchudnewalaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Don't help a scam, xx Don't help illegal jobs xx Don't steal disabled's money, xx Stop corrupted country(BD) xx && xx Give him his right! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

They teach their students that ECU is the best and then go to patronise other universities because of this. As a high school student i can tell you that secondary students are starting to look at this uni and not want to go there. When you ask a high school student what they think of ECU, they think of a student that starts a meme page about other unis.

Great lecturers, fun practical classes. There are a few places to get food from. Central cafe is a place you can get food quickly, the food available varies from day to day. There food is good except for hot meals, the only exception is lasagne. The restaurant has long waiting times, their food is higher quality than central cafe and they have a fixed menu with weekly specials, however it is very busy. If you fancy something Asian then go to the food stand outside of the elab.

Not recommended at all to any international student. zERO support for international students during COVID crisis. Despite all units being online where lectures get absolutely monotonous and lecturers cannot cater to the learning needs of all types of learners (auditory, visual, kinesthetic), the exams were ridiculously hard for the engineering diploma students, the marking equally strict and no relaxation in workload at all. While institutes world over are trying to make it simpler for their students to achieve success, ECC has only made it harder. I'm speaking as the guardian of a student here who I know was struggling and had tried to explain many times to the college that she won't manage to do 4 units and would appreciate some relief. She got no support and was made to do all 4, as a result of which, she couldn't clear three out of the four units. She's been begging for at least a re exam as finances are tough everywhere in the world and things are extra hard for international students but to no use. A professor actually failed a majority of the class and even the brightest ones barely passed. What sort of a professional teacher does that? I'm really curious as I've been in the field of Education as a teacher and a trainer for 6 years and have actually completed Master of Education from ECU itself. Anyone who is reading this, if you're going straight to ECU, that's great but if it is one year at ECC first, be prepared for hell. We're currently facing a loss of about 10,000 AUD, 6 months and morale, and nobody is really helping. Not recommended at all to any international student.

A wonderful university. It's a delight to come here to attend classes and study every day. Many areas have been renovated, or are currently in the process, to allow for more space for students to sit down and study. ECU knows what's up! All of my lecturers and tutors are of high standard. There are also lots of club societies to suit individual tastes and make the chance to meet people. The facilities are also great. The overall atmosphere is nice too, and outside is beautiful on sunny days. I'm so happy to be spending the next 2 years here!

A nice relaxed bar on campus. They don't serve food, but have a good range of drinks. Also the place looks great sonce the rennovations.

WAAPA, it's great! The Youth Theatre programme is brilliant for budding actors to get exposure to the craft.

Not a particularly fantastic university. Their support services for student are below par. Avoid and try a different uni.
